CBC Worklife Mission

CBC WorkLife exists to encourage, equip and challenge each person through Biblical Principles to live out their faith in the workplace..

 

Ministry Areas

 

There are three ministry areas in which you can get involved:

 

Career Life – Over seventy percent of all people employed full time fall into the Career Life community. The people in this category are comprised of hourly, salaried and commissioned individuals involved in all segments of the workforce.

 

Corporate Life – Approximately twenty percent of the workforce are categorized as Corporate Life community. These individuals would include; executives, managers, directors, professionals, and educators spread over every work sector.

 

Business Life – There are about ten percent of all people in the workforce that fall into the Business Life community which is comprised of business owners or those planning on starting a business.

 

 

Ways to get involved

 

There are many ways that you can become a part of this ministry:

 

Small Groups – There are Small Groups on every campus for each of the three CBC Worklife communities. You can find out more about which groups best fit you and your schedule by reviewing our Small Groups Directory or by contacting one of the CBC Worklife Leaders below.

 

Maestro – This is a self-directed coaching system will help you to be most effective in your work life. There are in depth training modules, regular email inspirations, personal assessments, and ongoing assistance in facing the challenges that the work place may present.

 

Training Days – Throughout the year there will be different training options to better equip you in being the best at what you do. These will range from a general class that serves the entire CBC Worklife community to more specialized tracks to assist the Business owner or corporate executive. Job Connection – This program helps the entire church community be aware of current employment opportunities. Business owners and managers are encouraged to post their job openings to the church community and regular promotion will remind the CBC family of potential job opportunities.
