Make a Difference

VolunteerYou may ask, "How can you effectively connect with so many people?" The answer is simple; it takes an army of volunteers stepping up to the plate every week to “do" parking, greeting, children’s ministry, Small Groups and much more. Every person doing his or her part allows CBC to share a life-changing message to those seeking answers.

When you think about it, CBC happens each week because teams of people work together to make the weekend a comfortable and inviting experience, not to mention the hundreds of ministry opportunities, multiple campuses and conferences each year. When you go back to the New Testament and study the beginning of the local church, you will discover the same paradigm. 1 Peter 4:10 tells us that, "each one of us has been given gifts that we might serve others." Have you ever wondered what kinds of spiritual gifts the Lord has given to you? How do you connect with the church and use your gifts, talents, passions and even your life's experiences to serve other people inside and outside of God's family?

Volunteer CaféLet us take a moment to introduce you to the third part of our Life Track series: Serve. You are very special because God has designed you to fulfill a unique purpose He has shaped you to fit uniquely into a special place here at CBC. Your shape becomes evident when you are doing what you love to do, what you instinctively do, what you were born to do by virtue of your God-given design.

Serve is dedicated to helping you discover your unique design. This fun-filled, highly interactive one day seminar will help you discover your spiritual gifts, your passions, your talents and abilities, your life experiences and how God can use those to serve others, along with your unique personal make up. Then, we will work to help you find a serving opportunity at CBC that best fits with your design and what you love to do. We know that when you are doing the work that God specially designed you to do, you are glorifying Him and having a ton of fun doing it!
