Pastor Frank and Sharon Damazio are the lead pastors of City Bible Church with campuses across the Pacific Northwest. Since they became lead pastors in 1995, CBC has grown to over 6,000 active members participating in dozens of weekend services, including services in Spanish, Laotian, Burmese and Russian. The people are known for their courageous generosity, love for the community and passion for God’s presence.
Pastor Frank and Sharon have a deep passion for training leaders to build and strengthen the local church. As chairman of Ministers Fellowship International (MFI), Pastor Frank gets to interact with hundreds of leaders across the USA and the world. As a worship pastor and professor at Portland Bible College, Sharon trains people to be wholehearted worshipers and hone their skills as vocalists and musicians.
Pastor Frank is also the President of Portland Bible College (PBC), a ministry training school that trains and launches students into a lifestyle of full-time ministry, whether they work for a church or not. He speaks at conferences worldwide and is the author of The Making of a Leader, Strategic Church, and many more.
Sharon was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, and relocated to Portland with her parents when she was 19 years old. She met and married Frank and since then she has been involved extensively in pastoral and worship ministry, leading, teaching and mentoring women and worshipers. Sharon ministers from her real life experiences marked by and honest and authentic approach to the challenges and blessings of life. She desires that women of all ages will be relationally connected, planted and thriving in the church and using their everyday gifts to influence their world. She is also the Pearl Campus worship pastor.
Pastor Frank and Sharon have four grown children, two grandchildren, and they reside in Oregon.
