CBC is one church with three locations*. We believe we are called to reach as many people as we can with the power and message of Jesus. One of the ways we strive to do this is through the development of multiple campuses. We are one church, with one leadership team, one senior pastor, one vision, a unique DNA and spiritual heritage that finds expression through multiple campuses. While we have had a location on the east side of Portland since 1951, in 2003 we launched a west side location at the junction of Pacific Highway and Highway 217.

At CBC you’ll experience God's presence, celebrate the goodness of God and enjoy the community and friendship of people. During our weekend experiences we have ministries for all ages. You’ll find safe and secure nurseries where your child will experience the love and care of our trained nursery staff and classes where your kids will experience a fun and inspirational time together, learning about the things Jesus values and making new friends. Regardless of which service or campus you attend you will leave equipped and inspired to live the kind of lifestyle God desires for you!

The Rocky Butte, 217 and Mill Plain campuses mirror each other. The same ministries are offered during all of our weekend services, the City Café is located at all campuses, and Generation Church meets at all locations on Wednesday evenings.

Technology has allowed all of these services to experience live worship and church life together, while allowing Pastor Frank to minister from either location, and be viewed live on the other campuses. Pastor Frank alternates between each campus on a weekly basis. If he’s preaching live at the Rocky Butte campus, he will be live on the big screen at the 217 andMill Plain campuses. The following week he will be live at the 217 campus and live on the big screen on the Rocky Butte & Mill Plain campuses. The three past years have proven that this model is an effective approach to church and ministry. The Lord has blessed us over the few past years and all our campuses have continued to experience the blessing of the Lord and incredible growth.

Three times a year we come together to experience what we call Super Sunday. We gather together for a Sunday evening service at our Rocky Butte campus and experience the presence of the Lord together. We are one church all together under one roof and it’s one incredible experience!
