Statistically speaking, more than any other season of life, people ages 23-35 will choose their vocation, marry their spouse, begin having children, buy their first house and define their life-long level of commitment to the local church. For most people this season of life is truly the origin of our biggest commitments to follow God's plan throughout the rest of our lives.
ORIGIN is a ministry of CBC dedicated to shepherding a generation of people as we discover, shape and implement God's vision for our lives. Origin will demonstrate, in relevant ways, that the local church is God's chosen instrument for leading people to an understanding of how the practical things of life intersect with the spiritual things of life.
Origin is an expression of the passion and values of CBC as applied to the specific situations/reality shared by people ages 23-35. As with all CBC ministries we will strive to teach, and live out, the biblical perspectives on:
- Individuality in God
- What to do with my life
- How to value relationships
- Why you live where you live
- How to raise a family
- Discovering your role in the local church
The mission of Origin is to create a community of believers that are devoted one to another within the local church with a commitment for finding and living out the purpose of our lives as fully devoted followers of Christ.
