Origin White Party

Yeah, Yeah we know...
The statistics say that people in their 20's and early 30's have left the church.*
The stats say that Portland, OR is one of the least church attending cities in America**

However, we think something is changing in Portland, OR...

On Friday, April 22nd (Good Friday) we are asking the young adults of Portland, Oregon to celebrate Jesus! Please come down to the Pearl District wearing something WHITE - or all white if you've got the swagger.

Imagine 1,000+ people hitting the Pearl District on the same night- wearing white. Eat in Pearl District restaurants (some will give discounts for people wearing white) and hang out in coffee shops.

When people ask why you're wearing white, tell them....

"Today is Good Friday but Easter Sunday's coming!!"

Then respectfully invite them to church on Sunday. Offer to join them at church if they are willing to come. Care for them, bless them and spoil them because God loved you first!***

Then stop by the WHITE PARTY for FREE DJ and Desserts!
Friday, April 22nd
8PM - 11PM

CBC Pearl Campus
1210 NW 10th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97209

***1 John 4:19-20; 82 percent of the unchurched are “somewhat likely” or “very likely” to attend church if they are INVITED. That means 8 out of 10 unchurched persons would come to church if they were invited and personally brought to the church building.
