More than any other season of life, people in their 20’s and early 30’s will choose their vocation, marry their spouse, begin having children, buy their first house and define their life-long level of commitment to the local church. For most people this season of life is truly the ORIGIN of our biggest commitments to follow God's plan throughout the rest of our lives.
Whether you are single, married or somewhere in-between, we are here to support you in this unique season of life. This includes establishing your individual relationship with God, how to value and build relationships, how to raise a family, your role in the local church, and what to do with your life.
Every month, we organize one event, where everyone between the ages of 24 and 35, from all four campuses, can come together for a night of fun and fellowship. Past activities include, Bowling at Big Al’s, Karaoke Nights, Summer BBQ’s, Christmas parties, and Blazer Games. These events are perfect opportunities to meet Origin Leaders, meet new people, and even bring a friend who is not comfortable walking through the church doors.
We meet in locations around the Portland Metro area. Small Groups are all about “doing life together.” When someone is sick, they care for them; when someone celebrates a birthday or success, they celebrate with them; if our city has a fun event, they go together; and if the church has an outreach, they serve together. Small groups provide the personal support and relationship for counseling, accountability, care and support for individual needs. If you want to get connected and build relationships, you should be in a Small Group!
