My Story

The story of life is wrought with passion and heartache, laughter and sorrow, dreams fulfilled and sometimes hopes deferred. It’s an epic, sweeping chronicle that spans time and space, but remarkably details the story of us with endearing tenderness. This fantastic tale ascends the highest mountains and (sometimes) plunges to the depths of the lowest valleys, but always brings us back to the Great Author Himself.
So how do you fit into the plot?

Stories are powerful; they have the inspiring potential to encourage others, the evidence of the miraculous and the authority to slay dragons. Your part of the story is no different. Regardless of how your story began (or even if you’re not quite certain how it will end), the key part you play in the story of life details God's Kingdom on earth. The Bible tells us that our story is intricately tied together with the work of atonement Jesus completed on the cross. This work is the central plot of good overcoming evil, conflict resolved, and lost loves reconciled forever.

Louie Giglio in his book I am not but I know I AM writes, “Life is a tale of two stories - one finite and frail, the other eternal and enduring. The tiny one - the story of us - is as brief as the blink of an eye... [and often] blinds us to the massive God story that surrounds us on every side.”

We want to know the details of your particular chapter. Stories of God’s power… of holy phenomena, healing, and provision; of sons and daughters who return home. These are the evidences of the Great Author’s loving hand writing the story of us. These we want to know.

MyStory@CBC is your opportunity to tell your story. Whether a divine romance, a nail-biting suspense thriller or a comedy of errors, the key part you play in the story of life is a fantastic tale of God's Kingdom on earth, the epic adventure God has written through the ages. So let’s hear it. Do tell.
