City Bible Church

Thank you for taking a moment to learn about our Children’s Ministry here at City Bible Church.  We consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to partner with families to see children raised to become fully devoted followers of Christ with a heart for the local church. The goal of the City Kids’ team is to help kids of all ages understand that God has a larger-than-life plan for them.   We aim to create a fun and safe environment that helps nurture godly relationships with not only other kids but also teachers.  If you would like more information, please email us at citykids@citybiblechurch.org.
 
Nursery/Preschool
In our nursery/preschool classes, your children will enjoy a safe, relevant, and inspiring  program that is tailored just for them.  We offer interactive and dynamic classes for every child from newborn through kindergarten with staff and volunteers that are professional, energetic, and love spending time with kids.   We have a Preschool Parent Participation program that provides an opportunity for parents to be directly involved in ministering to their own kids as well as other children.   Above all, we're committed to making your child's time in the City Kids nursery and preschool classes the highlight of their week.

Edge (1^st-6^th Grade)
There are three main factors that we value in each of our EDGE services:  the Presence of God through live worship, the Word of God through video lessons and relationships with others through small groups.    We believe that kids will be changed and their relationships with God solidified and enhanced by His Presence.  In worship, we encourage kids to become intimate with the Lord in their personal relationship with Him. Through the Word, we strive to lay a solid biblical foundation in each child’s life that will help them navigate through life and make good solid choices for his/her future.  Through relationships with others, we aim to create a place where each child feels like they belong and are valued.  As they grow, their friendships will serve as scaffolding to help them sustain right choices throughout life.  Each service, we set the goal to cultivate a fun and safe atmosphere of community where life-long friendships can be built and where a solid foundation is laid.

Stitches
Stitches is a vital link to our community where we bring church to the people (or where we bring a message of hope to families in need).  Our stitches teams go into homes weekly to connect with families and help them understand the love of God.  We then assist these families in getting connected to church by bussing them in on Sundays and by facilitating their involvement in other weekday activities.  Through Stitches, kids become connected to City Kids ministry and receive bi-monthly impartation of the Word, Worship and friendships.  Teens are introduced and connected with Generation Ministries and encouraged to attend weekly and to be involved in small groups.  Adults are able to attend Sunday services, receive support from programs such as ESL, All Things New, parenting classes and financial management classes. Our goal with Stitches is to reach out into the community, meet people where they are and to providing them with a message of hope and a means to see God work in their lives.
